Job Summary
The DLP Analyst will support IT Compliance by performing data loss prevention monitoring activities. This role evaluates risk associated with the transmission of sensitive information in relation to company policies. The analyst will review alerts related to data in transit, identify risks, and escalate accordingly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review DLP related alerts.
- Escalate risks following established procedures.
- Collaborate with IT Compliance and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of reviews, decisions, and escalations.
- Assist with metrics and reporting as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2 years’ experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or data protection roles.
- Experience with DLP monitoring preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments and following strict compliance guidelines.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to interpret data and feedback.
- Ability to follow established guidelines and execute tasks accurately.
- Knowledge of data protection principles, regulatory requirements, and IT security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for clear escalation and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or data protection roles.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $43.97/hour - $58.62/hour
