Description:

Job Summary 

 The IT Compliance Analyst will support the organization’s IT Compliance program by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. This role focuses on understanding and reviewing regulations, identifying control objectives, and mapping these objectives to internal controls and associated data. The analyst will act as an individual contributor, providing guidance through training, process development, and compliance documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret relevant regulations (e.g., Reg S-P, HIPAA, CCPA, FFIEC Handbooks, NYDFS).
  • Extract control objectives from regulatory requirements and align them with organizational control frameworks.
  • Map internal controls and issues to corresponding control objectives for accurate compliance tracking.
  • Develop and maintain compliance guidelines, processes, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into operational practices.
  • Operate under the direction of ICRM leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory interpretation, or IT risk management.
  • Proven experience in analyzing regulations and translating them into actionable control objectives.
  • Prior experience in compliance frameworks and control mapping.
  • Regulatory knowledge, including familiarity with key regulations such as Reg S-P, HIPAA, CCPA, FFIEC Handbooks, NYDFS.
  • Technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory interpretation or IT risk management

 

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $49.14/hour - $65.52/hour
