Job Summary

Remote opportunity for candidates who reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones. Candidates local to Memphis or St. Pete offices are a plus due to business continuity in case of outages. This is a short-term year-end assistance role with a strong possibility of extension. This is not a call center type of role, and phone work is not required. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced processing role with minimal errors, handling an average of 35-50 accounts per day or 80-100 tax loss forms per day. Under general supervision, the role provides support and assistance to complete assigned job responsibilities and projects consistent with department policy guidelines and procedures. Projects and duties will vary widely based on department needs and priorities. The role serves as the agent between branches and the home office, reviewing, updating, maintaining, and servicing accounts. Asset Management Services (a division of Raymond James & Associates) offers comprehensive asset management services and products for Raymond James financial advisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of operational procedures within the department, which may include new fee-based agreement processing.
  • Answers questions regarding fee-based accounts.
  • Researches and provides resolution on advanced and more complex business issues.
  • Serves as a back-up in cross-functional responsibilities during absences.
  • Assists in special projects.
  • Maintains a variety of data files and records.
  • Prepares letters, memos, and various documents.
  • Monitors incoming mail and documents.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • At least 1-2 years of recent client services/customer service experience; manager is also very open to new graduates.
  • Ability to follow workflows/processes.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills; ability to use proper grammar and spelling at all times.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, basic Excel).
  • Financial services industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED completed.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $16.88/hour - $22.50/hour
